The publication provides a comprehensive overview of projects, studies and research in the field of illicit drugs funded by the European Commission from 2007- 2010.

Drugs policy is largely the responsibility of the 27 EU governments and the bulk of funding to tackle illicit drugs is provided through national spending programs. However, illicit drugs know no borders and EU governments are closely working together to reduce drugs use, drug trafficking in Europe.
