Amphetamines


Amphetamines are part of a group of substances, known as stimulants. The amphetamines include three types of chemical substances, which are closely related: amphetamine, dextroamphetamine and methamphetamine. They are known on the street under various names: speed, uppers, crystal. Their effect ends up 2-4 hours after the reception, and the elimination half-life is 4-24 hours. These drugs can be found in various forms – powder, liquid, crystals, tablets, paste. The use of amphetamines leads to euphoria, decreased appetite, which can lead to anorexia, increased energy which is expressed in increased attention and freshness.

Amphetamines are substances with a high risk of developing of an addiction.
